Born from the UNfake Pants — long pants you can wear as lightly as a wind shell.
Just 155g in size M.
As a light everyday pant. As wind shell pants. As relaxed wear at the campsite.
Taslan nylon — once the mainstream choice for lightweight mountain pants.
How to make the most of its qualities in the mountains of today.
The UNfake LT Pants were born from the desire to spend more time in the mountains, lighter and more comfortably.
A nylon weather cloth withexcellent water repellency and wind resistance.
English: The fabric is a high-density weather cloth at
66g/m², made from 100% recycled Taslan nylon yarn.
Regenerated from textile waste, this nylon is supple and soft against the skin.
The dense weave delivers excellent water repellency and wind resistance, making it equally capable
as wind shell pants.
The low-sheen Taslan nylon yarn, combined with partially natural-derived dyes, produces colors
that blend quietly and naturally into the outdoors.
A lightweight, simple designbuilt for travel.
Pursuing pants that move seamlessly from daily
wear to the outdoors, the design strips away the unnecessary.
Front pocket placement follows the same layout as everyday trousers — no learning curve, no
hesitation, whether in the city or the field.
The back pocket, suited to the thin nylon weather fabric, is positioned on the right side only and
finished in a packable design.
The elastic waist with drawcord allows for intuitive fit adjustment.
The hem can be cinched with an elastic spindle, making the pants suitable for more active scenes
such as bike rides.
A distinctive wide tapered silhouette.
The same strong wide silhouette from hip to
knee as the UNfake Pants.
A gentle taper toward the hem ensures ease of leg lift and smooth, unrestricted movement.
The pattern is also designed to allow free, comfortable movement when wearing a harness during
climbing.
Available in four sizes — S, M, L, and XL — for a fit and silhouette anyone can enjoy, regardless of
height or gender.
The sizing follows the UNfake Pants, but as the fabric has no stretch, sizing up is recommended if
layering over inner tights or shorts.

COLUMN
When it comes to lightweight mountain
pants, Taslan nylon — the same fabric used in the UNfake LT Pants — was the mainstream choice
up until the mid-1990s.
The fibers themselves have a slight texture, staying comfortable against the skin without that cold
feeling on contact, and carrying a warmth reminiscent of natural materials.
These qualities made it something of a byword for versatile, multi-use pants.
Designs of the era often compensated for the lack of stretch with a slightly generous silhouette or
added gussets at the crotch, making the most of what the fabric offered.
After that, improvements in polyurethane performance and the rise of stretch fabrics — using yarn
and weave structures to build in elasticity — began to take over.
Breathable, wind-permeable, and well-suited to modern outdoor activity, these have become the
mainstream.
In that context, Taslan nylon long pants have quietly stepped back from the spotlight.
Hearing that, one might wonder whether it's become a material reserved only for gear with a
deliberately retro, archival feel.
But that's not quite right.
Before waterproof-breathable fabrics became the norm, tightly woven fabrics were the way people
kept out rain and wind. This Taslan nylon weather cloth sits within that same lineage.
At the 2024 OMM race, the UNfake LT Pants were the choice.
Two reasons, mainly: the course ran through lower-elevation terrain where a lot of bushwhacking
was expected; and at night, the plan was to wear tights underneath, using them as a kind of
makeshift insulation layer.
Stretch pants would have raised concerns about tearing, and let too much wind through.
The UNfake LT Pants look classic at first glance.
In midsummer, there's a little more warmth, and they don't stretch.
And yet — there's a real place for them in the mountains.
Just as you choose your gear to match the terrain, the season, the conditions.
In early spring or autumn, as active wear that protects against the morning and evening chill.
In summer's high alpine zones, as wind shell pants paired with shorts.
And as a sleeping layer at night.
