On a cold mountain morning, the moment you carve your first line on your snow surfboard, the journey as you pedal your bike, a road trip spent in a car, or a skating session with friends.
A knit cap essential for winter scenes—that's why we focused intensely on its comfort.
The Aoraki Cap was designed to achieve a level of comfort so high, you’ll forget it’s even on.

Ultra-fine merino wool×exceptional stretchability
Made from ultra-fine merino wool (16 microns) sourced from sheep raised around Aoraki, South Island, New Zealand, this blend combines 91% merino wool, 8% nylon, and 1% polyurethane.
Despite its thinness, the material excels in insulation, is highly breathable, and prevents
itchiness, even with long hours of wear. With softness comparable to cashmere, it offers lightness and sponge-like elasticity, providing
a fit that you'll never want to take off once you put it on.

Comfortable fit and breathability for long hours of wear
With the high stretchability of rib knitting, it naturally fits any head shape.
Its lightweight design makes it a great option for those who aren’t fond of wool caps, and it pairs well with sunglasses and helmets.
It resists shrinking even after washing, making it durable for both everyday use and activities over the long term.

Versatile wearing options
Wear it deeply for solid warmth.
Fold it for a compact look with a shallower fit, giving it a skater-style vibe.
By adjusting the width of the fold, you can easily change both the impression and the fit.

COLUMN
When I was traveling through South Island, New Zealand, in a beat-up van, one of the places I visited many times was Mount Cook.
Locally known as Aoraki, meaning "The One Who Pierces the Clouds" in Māori, it holds a special place in my memories.
Camping at the base of the mountain, with the crisp morning air and silence of the surroundings, left a lasting impression.
That memory naturally aligns with this knit cap.Made from merino wool sourced around Aoraki, this cap balances comfort and functionality.
Every time I wear it, the air of that journey seems to come alive again. Perhaps, without even realizing it, travel and gear-making are intertwined in this way.
