The counterpart to the D.D Jacket — the D.D Pants, a lightweight rain pant at 145g.

Not designed to be a perfect waterproof pant, but built to make moving in the rain a little more comfortable — with an experimental silhouette and details that leave room for discovery.

The wide straight silhouette is not merely a design choice. It is a structure that draws air inside the shell, softening the temperature difference with the outside world — and a generous cut that works

over any layering beneath, regardless of fit.

Not only for rainy days, but as long pants over shorts on mountain routes. Something you can pull on quickly at the alpine dawn, in dew-covered forest, on a windswept ridge — whenever you need it.

A wide silhouette that creates layers of air.

A wide straight silhouette that pairs naturally with the D.D Jacket.

The supple fabric gives the pants a generous fit while maintaining a unique balance — never reading as overly bulky when worn.

By drawing air inside the shell, the structure softens the temperature difference with the outside world, helping to reduce moisture buildup and chill in the rain.

Tucks at the knees prevent the fabric from pulling when lifting your legs, and keep the hem from riding up.

The hem is wide enough to put on over shoes, with an adjustable drawcord and silicone adjuster.

Because the hem is generously cut, the drawcord has extra length when cinched — thread it around the ankle to keep the hem from catching the wind.

Details designed for intuitive use.

In rethinking rain pants, the priority was simple: no hesitation, even in the rain.

The waist is cut generously, so they layer easily over whatever you're wearing underneath.

Drawcords on both sides with elastic allow a one-touch fit adjustment — just pull both cords at once.

The side pass-through pockets, with flap and zipper, allow access to the pockets of the pants worn beneath — so you can reach what you need without taking the rain pants off.

A packable pocket is built into the inner waistband, keeping the design lightweight and easy to carry.

A lightweight 3-layer fabric at 57g/m².

For the 26SS season, the fabric has been significantly updated.

Maintaining the specifications of a 3-layer construction, we've moved to a 10-denier nylon with density and body. Waterproof rating: 20,000mm. Breathability: 40,000g/m². A lightweight 3-layer fabric.

The added body of the fabric makes it easier to preserve the generous silhouette during wear, and allows the rain pant's functional character to come through more clearly.

Waterproofness, breathability, durability, and lightness — a material that balances all four. The one we trust right now.

Its excellent breathability makes it equally capable as a travel outer, not just as rain gear.

The use of stretch nylon in the outer fabric reduces the rustling noise typical of shell pants,

contributing to a supple, comfortable wearing experience.

The D.D Jacket had been an idea long before the brand was established. And alongside that concept,

the question of whether to create a matching rain pant came up again and again from the very beginning.

Rain pants are simple gear — and that simplicity makes differentiation difficult. If the only goal is keeping out the rain, the structural options are limited. There were even voices suggesting that for us, it should be a rain skirt, not a rain pant.

And yet, as we used the D.D Jacket in the field, the possibility of a counterpart pant began to take shape.

Thinking of rain pants as something you only put on when it rains limits their usefulness. But framing them as overpants — something you layer on top — shifts the picture.

Overpants have long served as tools for layering over what you're already wearing. Workwear.

Insulation. A protective layer in bad conditions. Used across many different environments for many different reasons.

What we set out to do with the D.D Pants was to reimagine that overpant function through the lens of modern lightweight rainwear.

As long pants over shorts on mountain routes, guarding against wind and cold. At the alpine dawn,

in dew-covered forest, on a windswept ridge — something you can pull on quickly whenever you need it. At rest, making use of the air trapped inside the shell to hold warmth.

And something we've come to enjoy in actual use: rolling up the hem. This wasn't a wearing style we had deliberately designed for from the start. But trying it in the field,

the roll-up opens up the lower leg, making the pants feel lighter and less prone to the moisture buildup and heaviness that rain pants can bring.

Because of the wide straight silhouette, the fabric doesn't cling when rolled — easy to move in, even during active use.

Rain gear you can put on before the rain starts. That you can keep wearing after it stops.

By not limiting their use to wet weather alone, the D.D Pants become something more than just a rain pant.

A tool you explore — adapting to the conditions, the terrain, and the way you choose to pack.

The D.D Pants were born from the same philosophy as the D.D Jacket. A lightweight overpant, built for the same way of thinking.
