The Highland Series is a mid-layer that blends the natural temperature-regulating qualities of alpacawool with the comfort of modern mountain gear.
Designed as technical wear to help you fully enjoy the depth of winter nature.
And as everyday clothing that becomes more a part of you the more you wear it through the winter days.
The Highland Hoody was created to offer a warmth you’ll want to keep wearing—comfortable in the harsh cold of the mountains and the gentle warmth of everyday life alike.
Maximizing the natural properties of alpaca wool.
Among the alpacas that inhabit the high plains of the Andes at elevations of 3,000–5,000 meters, we use baby alpaca—known for its especially fine and soft fibers.
The fleece of alpacas, which live in such extreme conditions, has developed exceptional temperature-regulating properties to adapt to drastic shifts from +20°C during the day to -20°C at night.
Its hollow fiber structure traps air to insulate against the cold while naturally releasing excess heat when it builds up.
Even during constant movement in the mountains, it prevents overheating and maintains a consistently comfortable warmth.
A mid-weight knit that balances warmth and durability.
To bring out the natural texture and performance of alpaca wool, the fabric is knitted with added thickness.
The nylon blended into the yarn acts as a core, giving structure to the delicate alpaca knit—making it more resistant to stretching and deformation while enhancing overall strength.
As a mid-layer designed for deeper exploration of winter nature, it offers the ideal balance of insulation and durability.
Details designed for technical performance.
The boxy silhouette provides room around the body and arms, allowing unrestricted movement even during active use.
Raglan sleeves are used around the shoulders to reduce friction and interference from backpacks.
The three-dimensional hood design fits naturally over a balaclava or cap.
A drawcord at the hem helps seal out cold air from the waist, enhancing overall warmth and comfor

COLUMN
In recent years, synthetic active insulation has become the mainstream, enabling more comfortable mountain adventures.
However, the unique "comfort" of natural materials has always lingered in the back of my mind.
Unlike synthetics, which allow too much wind to pass through, natural materials are supple, warm, and gentle on the skin.
When I envisioned this ideal, I was reminded of an alpaca sweater I bought about 15 years ago in Cusco, Peru, during a trip.
The “softness” and “lightness” I felt the first time I wore it. And the way it molded to my skin, becoming more comfortable with every wear.
Even with pilling, it developed character, its strength and suppleness never fading. It was a piece I could build a lasting relationship with, like a trusted companion.
The Highland Hoody starts at 100% when new, but the more you wear it, the more it grows, reaching 120%, 150% in comfort.
I invite you to experience the feeling of being wrapped in natural materials firsthand.
