On the drive to the mountains, through days spent on the trail, on downhill runs with the Trip Cruiser.
To stay fully in the moment — wearing it so naturally, so in tune with the body, that you forget it's even there.
That is the feeling we aimed for with the Jet Cap, designed with an original shape.
A rounded jet cap silhouette.
Standard jet cap patterns are built on straight lines, making roundness difficult to achieve — most end up with a shallow shape.
Taking reference from 6-panel caps, we developed an original 5-panel pattern with a slight curve at the top.
By rounding the upper portion of the front panel slightly, the cap achieves the shallow, jet cap-style look while delivering a secure depth that stays put on windy ridgelines and during downhill runs with the Trip Cruiser.
The brim is set slightly longer, ensuring clear visibility when a rain jacket hood is pulled over.
A fit you can wear naturally, without thinkingabout it.
Designed for a natural fit so
comfortable, you stop noticing it's on.
The brim uses a slightly elastic core, allowing you to shape it to your preference.
On windy ridgelines or during high-movement scenes, the rear adjuster can be tightened for a more
secure fit.
Flat elastic is used on select parts of the construction, reducing any sense of pressure or discomfort.
Cotton-like water-repellent nylon fabric.
A mid-weight taffeta fabric at 161g/m², made from spun nylon yarn with a soft, natural fiber-like touch.
Among spun nylon yarns, this one is a special variety with fine surface fibers — a subtle fuzz that sets it apart.
Despite nylon's naturally low absorbency, the moderate weight and fine texture allow it to take in sweat at just the right level, while still making full use of nylon's quick-drying properties.
A water-repellent finish on the outer surface means it dries quickly after rain and resists odor even after heavy sweating.
The inner lining uses polyester mesh — quick-drying even when wet, and contributing to the soft, comfortable wearing experience.

COLUMN
There are certain requirements for a cap fabric used in the field.
Thickness. Weight. How quickly it dries. Breathability.
Push toward lightness, and the fabric gets thinner — which also helps with drying.
But thinner isn't always better.
A cap's job is to block UV rays and shield the face from direct sun. And for me, there's another equally important role: absorbing sweat.
On a hard summer hike, sweat builds. When the fabric is too thin, it can't keep up — and the sweat just runs straight down.
That unmanaged sweat is more of a problem than it sounds.
That's why the Jet Cap uses a mid-weight spun nylon. Among nylon fabrics, it holds more moisture and carries a degree of thickness. It's not the thinnest, and it's not the lightest.
At first glance, it looks like a perfectly ordinary nylon fabric.
And yet it's the one you keep reaching for — because that "just right" weight connects directly to how well it performs in the field.
