A mid-weight synthetic insulation jacket designed to handle everything from autumn’s high mountains to the depths of winter’s standstill.

Among the many lightweight insulation options, we developed this jacket with the goal of ensuring reliable warmth even in cold environments.

It combines solid insulation power, lightweight comfort when worn, durability against moisture, and long-lasting durability.

The Kamuy Jacket lets you enjoy winter activities like never before.

Air Flake×20D nylon.

The insulation is made from Air Flake, a synthetic material that offers the warmth, lightness, and resilience of down.

Using 100% recycled polyester, the ultra-fine fibers are twisted into a curl shape, trapping air and providing excellent insulation and a soft feel against the skin.

It retains its warmth even when wet and shows minimal changes in volume, even after more than 30 wash tests.

The outer fabric is made from 20D ripstop nylon, also 100% recycled. It offers a soft, comfortable fit without compromising the softness of Air Flake.

A belay parka silhouette, designed with a relaxed fit to be worn effortlessly.

Inspired by climbing belay parkas, it is designed with a relaxed silhouette that can be easily thrown on.

The raglan sleeves provide greater freedom of movement around the shoulders, reducing discomfort while worn.

The neckline is slightly lower to avoid interference with a balaclava or neck gaiter.

The drawcord on the hood is designed to wrap towards the face, ensuring a seamless fit even when paired with a hoodless sleeping bag.

The double zipper design allows for flexible ventilation during activity and easy layering

The large, distinctive front pockets are padded with insulation, excellent for keeping hands warm.

Inside, there’s a large mesh pocket, perfect for warming wet gloves or preventing fogging on your goggles.

    What insulation do we truly want to use right now?

    The concept for the Kamuy Jacket began with that very question. In scenes like snowboarding, bivy camping, or short rests in rock shelters, what was needed

    was a piece that offered the lightness and warmth unique to synthetic insulation, along with the reassuring "easy-to-wear" comfort.

    The inspiration came from the belay parka used in climbing.

    A belay parka is a cold-weather jacket designed for belayers, allowing them to stay warm even over a harness during a climb.

    The key feature of the "easy to throw on" functionality was exactly what we were looking for.

    In the world of UL gear, many climbing-derived designs have been adapted over the years.

    The Kamuy Jacket was born within that context.
