"Nori-Shio," developed to bring out the best flavor in the alpha rice of the MIZUTO series.
Sea Vegetable Nori-Shio
Made with Sea Vegetable's suji-aonori, said to be the most fragrant of all aonori, blended with sun-dried salt slowly roasted in a stone kiln for three days.
A rich aroma that unfolds gently, with a mild, rounded saltiness that draws out the flavor of every ingredient.
Good on rice, and just as good sprinkled over vegetables or fish.
Pour tea over Sea Vegetable Nori-Shio seasoned rice, and enjoy a fragrant bowl of ochazuke.

Sea Vegetable LLC
Founded by two people with a deep love for seaweed, Sea Vegetable LLC became the first company in the world to successfully cultivate seaweed on land.
As climate change and rising sea temperatures drive coastal barrens and shrink wild nori and seaweed populations, making ocean farming harder by the year, Sea Vegetable collects and studies the diminishing seaweed species. Bringing them back using both low-impact land-based and ocean farming methods.
A pioneering company, Sea Vegetable is protecting seaweed resources and their native waters, creating new possibilities for how seaweed can be enjoyed.
