Even in the cold, you want to keep your fingertips free. Reading a map, starting a fire, holding a camera.
In those moments when delicate movements are needed, frozen hands just won’t do. The Open Finger gloves were designed with those scenes in mind, made from merino wool.
We’ve perfected the balance of “wearing gloves while still having full freedom of movement in your fingers,” a seemingly simple yet challenging feat.

Ultra-fine merino wool×nylon strength.
Made from 16-micron ultra-fine merino wool sourced from sheep raised around Mount Cook, South Island, New Zealand, this blend consists of 91% merino wool, 8% nylon, and 1% polyurethane.
It offers softness comparable to cashmere, along with lightness and sponge-like elasticity,
providing a fit so comfortable that once you try it, you won’t want to take it off.

A perfect thickness that is lightweight and easy to handle
Easy to move your fingers without getting too cold.
If the gloves are too thick, you’ll sweat when moving, and then they’ll cool down during inactivity.
By avoiding that risk, we've created the perfect thickness that provides solid warmth.
In high summer mountains, it can be worn alone as a backup, while in autumn to winter's lower mountains or snowy peaks, it serves as a reliable inner glove.

Practical and thoughtful details
Designed in a fingerless style, allowing for smooth operation of cameras, smartphones, lighters, and while driving.
The slightly longer ribbed cuffs wrap securely around the wrists, promoting circulation and preventing cold extremities.
The brand tag features a loop design, making it easy to attach a carabiner or a cord, so it can be worn around the wrist to prevent loss.

COLUMN
How many open-finger style gloves have we tested over the years?
In search of a truly functional pair for detailed tasks, we reconsidered the material, thickness, and knitting method.
What we focused on was the balance between usability and warmth, along with comfort that doesn’t tire you out even after long hours of wear.
After repeated prototypes and testing, the Open Finger glove was perfected, becoming the ideal companion for every scene, from everyday life to the mountains.
