The Root Shirt L/S is made from Khadi cotton — hand-spun and hand-woven by artisans in India.
Gentle against the skin, it draws away perspiration and leaves you with the curious sensation of feeling cooler for wearing it.
Unlike machine-spun yarn, hand-spun threads are naturally uneven, creating subtle variations in the weave that give this cotton a moisture absorption and quick-drying quality unlike anything you'd expect from the material.
Despite being made from natural fibers, it weighs just 130g in size M.
What we set out to make was a wind shell from natural materials — one you could wear even in the height of summer.
